What is the Presidential Scholars Program?@headingTag>
The Presidential Scholars program is for Nebraska students who score a 36 on the ACT or an equivalent SAT score of 1570-1600.
It covers undergraduate tuition, fees, books and supplies, housing and food, personal expenses and transportation, and all other costs of attendance—plus a $5,000 annual stipend.
The scholarship can be applied to any campus of the University of Nebraska System, including the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK), the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL), the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) or the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA).
Students receiving the scholarship must maintain a 3.500 cumulative GPA and complete 30 credit hours each academic year. The scholarship is renewable for a maximum of eight consecutive semesters.
The application deadline for Fall 2024 is April 1, 2024. For more information, please contact the financial aid office at the relevant campus.

Do I Qualify?
Nebraska Resident
You must be a Nebraska resident who has graduated high school in the last year.
Perfect ACT or SAT Score
You must receive a perfect ACT score of 36 or the equivalent SAT score of 1570-1600.Full-Time Undergraduate Student
You must apply and be accepted at a University of Nebraska campus.First-Time Freshman
