Effective July 1, 2026, the University mileage reimbursement rate will increase to $0.76 per mile, matching the current General Services Administration (GSA) standard mileage rate.
Travel that occurred before July 1, 2026, will continue to be reimbursed at the previous mileage rate. The Firefly travel application will automatically apply the appropriate reimbursement rate based on the date of travel. For expense reports containing mileage entries dated on or after July 1, 2026, it is recommended that users delete and re-enter the mileage expense line to ensure the updated reimbursement rate is applied correctly.
