In a time when so many families are doing their part to keep communities healthy through social distancing and remaining home, the University of Nebraska High School (UNHS) is offering 10 courses free through July 31, 2020.
UNHS allows students to enroll any day of the year and work at their own pace. Students can complete a course in as little as five weeks from the first submitted assignment, or may take as long as a year. These courses are entry-level high school curriculum great for review or credit recovery and are suitable for middle school students ready for a challenge. These courses lead students through well-designed, sequenced instruction with embedded explanations, checks-for-understanding and assessment.
Each course provides one semester of credit.
- Basic Grammar (no textbooks or required materials)
- Intermediate Grammar (no textbooks or required materials)
- Basic Math 1 (no textbooks or required materials)
- Basic Math 2 (no textbooks or required materials)
- General Math 1 (no textbooks or required materials)
- General Math 2 (no textbooks or required materials)
- Pre-Algebra 1 (scientific calculator required)
- Pre-Algebra 2 (materials kit required)
- Study Skills (no textbooks or required materials)
- Citizenship Module (not for credit module)
