The University of Nebraska Board of Regents will meet Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Varner Hall, 3835 Holdrege St. in Lincoln. Committee meetings begin at 8:30 a.m. and the Board meeting begins at noon. All meetings are open to the public. Meetings also will be audio-streamed live at www.nebraska.edu.

The Board will be asked to approve:
- Establishment of the Rural Futures Institute. (Addendum IX-A-1)
- A new Bachelor of Science degree in applied climate science in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. (Addendum IX-A-2)
- Establishment of the Center for Urban Sustainability at UNO. (Addendum IX-A-3)
- The program statement and budget for renovation of Brace Laboratory at UNL. (Addendum IX-B-1)
- The development team of America First Real Estate Group, LLC, the project scope for the mixed-use component of the 18th and R streets parking garage at UNL, and the associated ground lease and guaranteed annual payment and excess gross revenue sharing agreement. (Addendum IX-B-4)
- Authorizing the president of the university to enter into a letter of intent with developers for construction of an arena at UNO. (Addendum IX-B-9)
