The University of Nebraska Board of Regents will meet at Varner Hall, 3835 Holdrege Street, Lincoln, on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009. Members of the Board will tour the state fairgrounds and hear an update on Innovation Campus beginning at 8:45 a.m. Members of the media are invited to participate in the tour.

The Board meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. with an abbreviated agenda that includes these items:

• Nebraska Innovation Campus (approval of business plan and strategic plan)
• Presentation by Chancellor Perlman, Mary Jukuri- JJR/Smithgroup, and Jay Noddle-Noddle Companies
• Briefing on Budget
• Public comments on human Embryonic Stem Cell Research
• Action on Resolution on human Embryonic Stem Cell Research

A copy of the resolution and the NIC business and strategic plans are included with the agenda.
