Board of Regents to Meet in Columbus August 9
The University of Nebraska Board of Regents has scheduled two events in Columbus on
Saturday, August 9:

• A community breakfast, open to the public, at which NU President L. Dennis Smith and the regents will solicit opinions and suggestions concerning the university and its programs. • The Board of Regents’ regular August meeting, to be held at the Central Community College-Columbus Campus, 4500 63rd Street. The board meeting is open to the public, no reservations required. The meeting will convene following the community breakfast.

The board of regents each summer visits a Nebraska community to meet with area residents and hear their views on how well the University of Nebraska is meeting their needs and how it might better serve students, citizens and communities.
