Because they will be unable to attend the scheduled May 11 interview with Dr. Peter Hoff, president of the University of Maine, three members of the University of Nebraska Board of Regents plan to meet with him on Sunday, May 9. Dr. Hoff is a finalist for the presidency of the University of Nebraska.

The three regents who plan to attend the meeting are Howard Hawks, Drew Miller, and Jonathan Croskey. The meeting is scheduled for 8:45 p.m. Sunday in the boardroom of the Ironwood Golf and Country Club, 12627 Pacific Street, in Omaha.

Because a quorum of the Board of Regents will not be present, this will not constitute a meeting of the board. In the interest of full disclosure, however, members of the news media will be allowed to attend and observe the discussions.
