The University-wide Benefits Committee functions in an advisory capacity to the Vice President for Business and Finance, University of Nebraska.

The committee members are charged with creating and maintaining an open line of communication between the administration of the university and employees, and ensure employee input in administrative decisions regarding employee benefits, while recognizing the many other factors involved in such decisions.
