Sara Granberg-Rademacker
Graduate Student Services Coordinator
Office of Graduate Studies
UNL
Sara has contributed significantly to UNL's recent recruitment and retention success with graduate student - especially students of color. Beginning in the fall semester of 2000, she began building stronger bridges between the Office of Graduate Studies and a number of colleges throughout the United States, including Alcorn State University, Florida A&M, Grambling State, New Mexico Highlands, Bennett College, and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. The result has been a growing graduate student enrollment and increased diversity among graduate students.
Sara also has worked with the UNL faculty and staff to create a summer research opportunity program, and has worked tirelessly with the mentors and host families of visiting students to make sure the learning and working environment are positive.
