The Board of Regents is pleased to present a KUDOS award to Sydney ("Syd") Clausen, anatomy education coordinator in the Genetics, Cell Biology and Anatomy Department at UNMC. Syd's efforts have helped transform the original gross anatomy lab into one of the finest teaching facilities in the country and what will be a world-class model following the renovations currently underway. His dedication to UNMC is also exemplified in the time and effort he expended in the installation and startup of the Virtual Microscopy Laboratory for medical students in both Anatomy and Pathology.

Syd continues to always give attention to detail not just to get the job done, but to make sure the job is done right. He has been recognized with the department’s Outstanding Performance Stipend Award five out of the last six years. He is the employee everyone wants to have working on their team.

Congratulations, Syd, on receiving the KUDOS award from the Board of Regents.
