Office Associate in Entomology Department of IANR, UNL

Jeri Cunningham is the office associate in the Entomology department of IANR. Jeri’s job responsibilities include coordinating departmental conferences and workshops; processing graduate student applications, course rosters, evaluations and other teaching related reports; and assisting faculty with teaching projects and publication management. She is also the main organizer of departmental social events including graduation celebrations, farewell receptions for departing graduate students, and Husker game day activities.

While Jeri’s professional     competencies are admirable, her greatest contributions are to the morale of the Entomology department. Colleagues say you can always count on her for a cheerful smile,  an encouraging word and a bowl full of chocolates on her desk! Jeri is always willing to help faculty and students, and many seek her advice. Students learn over time to depend on Jeri for assistance with paperwork for their program and scholarship applications. Faculty also rely on her for assistance with teaching reports, class schedules, and workshops and conferences.

Jeri is a valued member of the department. She brings a  teamwork attitude to her job, and she interacts equally  effectively with faculty, staff and students. Jeri exhibits a commitment to excellence in all her tasks.
