Conrad has been essential to the development and support of hundreds of business computing applications that save countless hours of work, add value, and simplify processes for many units throughout UNL.

Conrad assessed the time‐consuming process that was in place for documentation and communication among 200 custodian services employees working in 100+ locations. He implemented a program that replaced the clipboard and paper process with wireless tablets allowing directors to review, approve and retrieve daily activity reports electronically from managers and supervisors. The wireless tablet application also allows field custodian signatures to be stored on the daily reports.

Conrad has also created time‐saving programs for Transportation including online vehicle rental requests, online direct bill private vehicle requests, online daily usage and monthly odometer usage, a driver motor vehicle records database, and electronic billing. Parking’s implementation of the Handheld Citation Management System was possible under Conrad’s application development and support. Conrad has also developed numerous applications for the NCard Program to ensure seamless use for all NCard owners.

His foresight and understanding of our client’s needs is helping to move departments to paper‐free efficiency. Conrad is an amazing resource and a true visionary for UNL’s Shared Computing Services Team.
